At the helm is the founder of Thunder Basin Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Mark G. Murphy, who has faithfully served the communities of Northeastern and Central Wyoming for over two decades since the clinic’s establishment in 1997. A proud alumnus of Brown University School of Medicine, Dr. Murphy has also served the United States Army and completed a dual fellowship in total joint replacement and sports medicine at the prestigious Kerlan Jobe Institute in Los Angeles. Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Murphy brings an unmatched depth of knowledge and experience to the clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joining Dr. Murphy is Dr. Sandra Gebhart, a Wyoming native with an impressive educational pedigree. After earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Wyoming, Dr. Gebhart completed her medical studies at the University of Washington and her orthopaedic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She also specialized in hand and microsurgery during her fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Gebhart’s extensive training and deep roots in Wyoming make her a vital asset to the Thunder Basin team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Supporting these esteemed doctors are Tristyn Richendifer, PA-C, and Moriahn “Mo” Bunney, PA-C, both of whom are board-certified Physician Assistants. Richendifer, a Wyoming native and graduate of Weill Cornell Medical College, has been part of the Thunder Basin team for almost a decade, focusing on general orthopaedics.
